Summary

We are hiring an Electronics and Communication Engineer to design, build and test the electronics inside our data-acquisition, automation, defence and underwater systems: the boards, sensors and communication links. Fresh graduates can apply, as can diploma holders with three to four years of relevant experience.

Description

Vebix Automation LLP is an MSME and DPIIT-recognised startup in Pune. We work on defence and industrial automation, embedded electronics, underwater systems, drones, robotics, data acquisition, cable assemblies and Indian-made replacements for imported products.

You will choose and integrate sensors, microcontrollers and communication modules, and do the testing, debugging, soldering and fault-finding it takes to bring a board up. You will write the wiring diagrams, schematics, BOMs and technical documents as the hardware is built, and keep them current.

You will also fit the electronics into mechanical assemblies, work with suppliers of components, PCBs and cable assemblies, and help with prototypes, inspection, field trials and customer demonstrations. Test reports, compliance documents and project records are part of the job.

Minimum qualifications

  • B.E./B.Tech. in Electronics, Electronics and Telecommunication, or Electronics and Communication Engineering, as a fresher or with up to one year of experience, or a Diploma in Electronics or E&TC Engineering with three to four years of relevant experience.
  • Analogue and digital electronics.
  • Communication protocols such as UART, RS-232, RS-485, CAN, SPI and I²C.
  • Ability to read technical drawings, datasheets and tender specifications.
  • Willingness to travel to vendor and customer locations when required.

Preferred qualifications

  • Embedded systems and microcontroller-based product development.
  • PCB testing and electronic fault diagnosis.
  • Sensors, instrumentation and data-acquisition systems.
  • Arduino, STM32, ESP32, Raspberry Pi or similar platforms.
  • PCB design software, LabVIEW, Python or C/C++.
