Who we are
Engineers from industry and research
Embedded systems, robotics, naval hardware and precision mechanical work, done by engineers who came to Vebix from industry and research labs.
Defence, subsea and UAV engineering · Pune, India
We design and build UAV, underwater and defence hardware in Pune. We are also the authorised Indian distributor for Blu-Sub Mechatronics, Holybro and T-Motor.
Hardware delivered for the Indian Navy, ARDE and university research labs.

One team for the whole buildEach environment leads to the engineering we do there and the parts we supply for it.
UAV / FLIGHT SYSTEMSCustom UAV platforms, flight avionics and propulsion, from choosing the autopilot to integrating the finished aircraft.
SUBSEA / UNDERWATER SYSTEMSPressure housings, thrusters and sealed cable entries for ROV and AUV builds, chosen so every part holds the same depth.
ROBOTICS / INTEGRATED SYSTEMSRobotic arms, embedded controls and precision mechanical assemblies. The mechanics, electronics and software come from one team.
Selected work
Thirteen projects for defence trials, Indian Navy equipment and research labs. Some started from a blank page. One arrived broken. One we rebuilt from the part itself, because its drawings had been lost.

Six motors, 10 kg all up and up to 40 minutes in the air. Built to simulate fuze height, with waypoint navigation, return-to-home and encrypted two-way comms.

Casings, flanges and couplings from a ship’s communication system, with no drawings anywhere. We measured the parts and drew them again.

It came in with GNSS dropping out, a silent ground station and timestamps that disagreed. It went back logging properly.

RTD, thermocouple, IMU and pressure on one board. Up to 500 samples a second, down to −40 °C, under 100 grams.

Six joints and a mobile base, driven from one MATLAB panel. Move a joint, watch it move and adjust, without editing code between attempts.

An imported assembly for submarine and torpedo systems. We reverse-engineered it, redesigned it for Indian manufacture and pressure- and insulation-tested the result.
View project →Services
A drone that logs flight data is a mechanical, electrical, firmware and control problem at once. We cover all four in one team, so nothing gets lost between them.
Measurement, monitoring and control hardware for equipment that has to work outside a lab, with the documentation defence programmes ask for.
Defence electronics →Frames, pressure housings, propulsion, sealing and payload for underwater vehicles and instrumented subsea platforms.
Underwater vehicles →Airframe, propulsion, flight systems, telemetry and payload, taken from prototype through field testing.
UAV engineering →Sensor interfacing, signal conditioning, logging hardware and the software that turns a trial’s raw data into results.
Data acquisition →Rugged electrical and fibre-optic cable systems for naval and defence equipment, including Indian-made replacements for imported assemblies.
Cable harnesses →Electronics, firmware, sensors, actuators and operator controls brought together into one working machine.
Embedded integration →How we work
What leaves this building is hardware: welded, wired, sealed and tested.

Who we are
Embedded systems, robotics, naval hardware and precision mechanical work, done by engineers who came to Vebix from industry and research labs.

How a job runs
You tell us what it has to do. We work out the mechanics, electronics and control, then hand back CAD models, manufacturing drawings and the tests that prove it works.

What we get asked for
Many jobs start with a part that has to come from abroad. We measure it, model it, check the material and design an equivalent that can be made in India.

Where it has to work
Submarine and torpedo systems. Communications aboard a ship. Instrumentation at −40 °C. The environment fixes most of the design before anyone starts drawing.

Who we work with
Joint research and prototyping with MIT-ADT University, Pune. Manufacturing through Gandharva Engineers, Shravani Engineers and Kyue Measurement & Control.
Parts
We are the authorised Indian distributor for all three, so every part comes with an engineer you can ask about it. Prices, stock and ordering are in our shop at vebixautomation.com.
Subsea
Thrusters, housings, penetrators and connectors rated to 300 metres: the parts an ROV is built from.
Blu-Sub in the shop →
UAV avionics
Pixhawk autopilots, GNSS, telemetry radios and power modules, plus development kits to build on.
Holybro in the shop →
UAV propulsion
Motors, speed controllers and propellers. We help you choose them as a set, because a motor, ESC and propeller picked separately often leave a build short of thrust.
T-Motor in the shop →Put a 300 metre thruster on a 100 metre housing and you have a 100 metre vehicle. The parts have to match each other, and these two guides show how to choose them together.

Guides
Selection guides and worked calculations for subsea, UAV and defence hardware, each with its sources listed.
