Summary

We are hiring an Electronics Technician to build the hardware we ship: assembling and wiring products and control panels, soldering through-hole and SMD parts, making cable harnesses and running functional tests to written procedures. Diploma holders with up to one year of experience can apply, as can ITI candidates with two to three years.

Description

Vebix Automation LLP is an MSME and DPIIT-recognised startup in Pune. We work on defence and industrial automation, embedded electronics, underwater systems, drones, robotics, data acquisition, cable assemblies and Indian-made replacements for imported products.

You will assemble, wire and test products and control panels, solder and desolder through-hole and SMD components, assemble and inspect PCBs and find basic faults, and make and test cables, connectors and harnesses. You will also fit sensors, power supplies and communication modules, working with multimeters, oscilloscopes and bench power supplies.

You will help engineers build prototypes and integrate products, run functional tests to approved procedures, and keep the assembly, inspection, test and material records. You will also help with field installation, maintenance, trials and customer demonstrations. ESD, electrical safety and quality procedures apply to all of it.

Minimum qualifications

  • Diploma in Electronics, Electronics and Telecommunication, Electrical or a related discipline, as a fresher or with up to one year of experience, or an ITI in Electronics Mechanic or a related trade with two to three years of relevant experience.
  • Soldering, crimping, wiring and cable-termination skills.
  • Ability to read circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams and component datasheets.
  • Familiarity with sensors, relays, connectors, PCBs and electronic components.
  • Ability to work from drawings, instructions and quality procedures.
  • Willingness to travel to vendor and customer locations when required.

Preferred qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of microcontrollers and embedded electronic systems.
  • Cable assemblies, control panels or instrumentation systems.
  • Experience in defence, industrial automation, drones, robotics or underwater systems.

We prefer candidates who can join at short notice.
