Mechanical design
Design and development of a battery-operated automatic golf kit trolley
A battery-powered automatic golf trolley, taken from chassis design and buying materials through to mechanical and electrical assembly.
The requirement
The problem this answered.
An automatic trolley had to carry a real load over uneven ground on battery power. That made the chassis a structural problem and a control problem at the same time.
Constraints and operating environment: Outdoor, uneven ground, battery powered.

Vebix scope
What we did.
We built an automatic, battery-powered trolley, from the chassis design and material purchasing through to final assembly. It had to move on its own and stand up to outdoor use.
We brought the mechanical and electrical work together during integration, and talked to the client throughout so the automatic functions and the strength of the structure matched what users needed.
